My little norns have been complaining about being cold. My original plan as stated in the previous posts was to have them all live in Ostrova where they have a little underground home sheltered from the cold wintery landscape. Due to it falling through, my norns have been having to live in the wintery snow without any shelter. I have been searching and searching for an agent or something that would allow me to provide them shelter in the north pole metaroom, in vain. I have decided to provide a teleporter that will teleport them to the little room of "Rons House". Here they can escape from the outside cold and snow for momentary warmth and more food.
Meet Jason. He is a generation 10 magma norn visitor. I got him in the warp today and he seems to be very competent! I gave him the usual checkup once he arrived, and everything seemed normal and fine. I left him in the bottom of the warp room to complete the usual "IQ test".
I high tailed it back to the north pole to find an egg had hatched out a baby named "leyti". If you recall, I once had another norn named this and it braught back some memories. I didn't have long to watch Leyti and reminisce before a death icon popped up onto my screen. Excited and expecting to see one of my elders has passed as per the normal circle of life I clicked and was transported to the next norn!
Much to my dismay I found it was Nobusuke, a non elder. A norn who was still in his prime adulthood had passed away, and with mysterious causes once again! Luckily, he was old enough to have had many experiences and passed on his genes.
A little while later, another death icon appeared on my screen and lead me to Deodat, another sad and mysteirous death. Deodat also was not elder, and by now I began to get a little worried as to what might be happening. I know there aren't any bacteria in my world, or toxins, but all of these mysterious deaths are beginning to make me wonder if i'm having some type of epidemic on my hands.
Time passed with little to no events like the previous to, so I became relaxed again. I scrolled to the cornucopia to find all the norns hoarded around it like usual. When one of Kasumikos daughters discovered it, she took joy in pushing it repeatedly, sending bubbles flying everywhere until the ground was littered with food and the air was clogged with the bubbles! This photo doesn't do justice to what I found, and became a little worried all of the bubbles and food would slow down my game due to the sheer number.
Hisashi was the first to discover the teleporter to Rons House. He was soon followed by the native snow brothers who seem to enjoy taking the house over and hitting every norn who enters, and playing in and out with the teleporters. In his moment of peace, Hisashi took a little rest by the fruit bowl, which dispenses fruit when pushed.
Another death icon lit up my screen and I was taken to a baby norn, Leyti! I have had a couple native snow norn crossed with my own regular norn babies die after birth due to defect so I wrote this off as defect. Chiyosaburo was right by the norn, trying to comfort the baby, or perhaps wake it back up because he kept touching and pushing it as if it were a toy. He seemed a little disturbed by the death, such as I was.
Another birth in the world renewed my joy when I saw little Lenz pop out of his egg. He too is a son of one of the snow brothers and so far shows no slappy habbits or birth defects. He has a beautifully snowy colored body. Lenz is an explorer, for as soon as he hatched he began walking around with his eyes all lit up, looking at everything and playing with everything he could get his little hands on. Lenz is one of the cutest norns!
Chiyosaburo is getting up there in age, well over his death date and i'm very fascenated and happy to see that. I always see him hobbling with his old man walk after other norns with a bright smile on his face, or pushing little odd objects like snowflakes or bits of food. He found one of Kasumikos eggs and began pushing it, playing with it and touching it. It was so cute to see him doing that, not once did he ever think of hitting or harming the egg. He just kept playing with it with a bright smile. Then over came another norn, Nikorasu, who picked the egg up and began to dance with it while Chiyosaburo looked on with interest and played with it while Nikorasu was holding it. I watched the two norns do this for quite some time, they seemed so enthralled in the egg, it was cute!
Then Nikorasu took the egg with him, walking to the right where the mass of snowballs lay on the ground with a few other norns, all gathered around the snowball dispenser. Nikorasu pushed the dispenser with the egg a couple of times, making some snowballs come out, then deposited the egg onto the ground amongst them. I thought at first he must think the egg is a snowball, but then when he moved out of the way saw Kasumiko right behind the egg. It is as if he had brought her egg right to her.
More peaceful time passed without anything happening, and with the norns just having fun and playing. The snow brothers have been staying in Rons House for some time now, perhaps they perfer the warmth, leaving the rest of the outside snowy world rather peaceful with no slapping going on. It is then that I see another death icon, and half believing Chiyosaburo is immortal, expected to see another elders death, or perhaps another mystery death... but when I was brought to Chiyosaburo snuggled between an ice crystal and a snowball pile I was surprised! He lived a super long life of 6 hours and 52 minutes, almost 7 hours! That is a far cry from 5 and a half hours! Good job Chiyosaburo!
Out from the egg that Chiyosaburo and Nikorasu had been playing with popped a beautiful little baby norn named Michihiko. He is a pretty snowy white like his fathers and took an interest in the food by the cornucopia immediately. He crawled right over there and began eating and playing with the bubbles!
I found Jason wandering in the C3 ark (space ship for those who aren't familiar) much to my surprise! Then I realized I had forgotten about the little door to the space ship in the middle of the norn docking station! It will have to be watched from now on because it will be a little bit of a loophole in the IQ test. I plopped him in Rons House where it's nice and warm so he can explore the snowy world at his liesure.
I don't submit or usually mention the little girl baby norns born in my world because they will only be exported at youth to make an appearance back into my world when their time comes to be the queen. BUT, this time I will make an exception and mention something rather important and sad that I found in my world. I don't have any pictures because the event that shocked me happened too quickly for me to get any taken. I was at Rons House with the snow brothers and a couple other norns, just watching and making sure nobody runs into the walls too much when I found one of Kasumikos daughters had teleported in. I was overjoyed to see the teleporters were actually being used without my direction! I was then horrified to see the rainbow brothers both suddenly ganging up on her and slapping her. I hastily began clicking away trying to get the snow brothers to stop by slapping, or pulling them away, but there were too many of them! The poor little baby was slapped to death.
A few minutes later after a snow brother had teleported back outside with the rest of the norns I got another death icon and found another one of Kasumikos daughters dead, with that snow brother hovering over her body with a mischievious smile on his face. Then it suddenly occurred to me that the mysterious deaths may not be so mysterious afterall. I think some were, because they showed no signs of pain, but others had disappeared before I could properly check for pain. Sorry norns!
This means I have to keep a much better eye on the snow brothers since they have showed themselves to be murderers!

Thriving
Many of our adult norns are in their ancient stage now. There will be many taken by the hands of old age soon. In his old age Hidekazu seeks space to be by himself. He spends most of his time to the far right of the snowy world where no other norns go, and plays with snowballs and ice crystals. When another norn encroaches on his space he spends the whole time retreating that norn until the norn leaves. Hidekazu doesn't seem lonely though, and is always smiling and happy when playing in his sorroundings.
Chiyosaburo on the other hand seeks the company of other norns, and will follow them around. He followed the nearest norn while my camera was on him and when that norn came to rest, Chiyosaburo layed down right beside him and expressed that he liked that norn very much. Chiyosaburo is the oldest of all of the norns in my world at this time. He has exceeded his life expectancy of 5 hours and 39 minutes. He is far older then that now, going into the five hours and fifty something minutes. You're amazing Chiyosaburo!
Meanwhile, the two native snow norns are proving to be more and more mischievous all the time. They seem to find slapping others around quite amusing and do it almost constantly, luckily not hard enough to seriously hurt anyone. All of my norns have now expressed that they hate Ayize, who seems to be the ring leader. Here he is crouching over Kasumikos egg which he fathered. He and his brother seem to be having naughty thoughts! Seconds after this photo was taken, Ayize picked the egg up and stomped around with it a bit.. before depositing it back on the ground while his interest switched to some nearby food.
Out from that egg pops Leyati! Ayize has been fathering most of the babies lately and he has been very busy. Leyati is his first son and all of the babies he fathers come out a beautiful blue or white color! Leyati hatched a perfectly innocent norn baby, and appeared a little confused at first. Once he got some food in his tummy from the cornucopia he seemed to straighten right up though. Leyati is proving to be the spitting image of his father as far as behavior goes. Leyati often slaps norns when he is bored, just for the fun of it!
Ayize's second son is Lazar. A name I find to be a bit interesting, and a cute little norn. This norn doesn't have the beautiful frosty blue, or white coloring of his siblings but instead takes after his mother as far as pigment goes. Lazar is a more peaceful norn than his father so far and likes to walk around eating, and playing with the snowflakes that litter the ground.
A death icon braught me to Hidekazu who has died of old age at the average age of 5 hours and 39 minutes. I was expecting to see Chiyosaburo had passed, but instead found this. I was a little sad, but also happy that Hidekazu has lead a full life. He died happy with a smile on his face, and not alone!
This is Ayize's third son, Lennert. Lennert has been born a pretty snowy white like his father.. in fact he resembles his father almost to a T. Lennert hatched and began slapping some norns around him much to my dismay, though not as badly as his father and brother do. Lennert mostly likes to eat, and play among the snow. In fact, eating seems to be every norns favorite thing to do! They eat more in this world than in Tulu!
A little while later after another pegnancy by Kasumiko and one of our original norns out pops little Paturin! paturin hatched sorrounded by family and a little disoriented at first. He didn't look like he knew quite what to do sorrounded by so many norns! He quickly became overhwelmed and began retreating them until he found himself in fresh air. After a short time exploring his new world, and playing with some snowflakes he layed beside a chunk of ice and took a nap. How he could manage to sleep against something so cold is beyond me!
Another death icon appeared on my screen and excitedly I clicked so that it would take me to Chiyosaburo. Only when I arrived at the destined norn it was not Chiyosaburo, but Shige, and Shige isn't even old! Shige appears to be another mystery death. Sorry little Shige, rest in peace.
With so many new baby norns being born thanks to the crazy Ayize, it looks like my norn population will be thriving, much to my surprise!

A Difficult Journey Completed
Like last migration, this migration was much more difficult than I had anticipated. I had expected a smooth transition to a new metaroom only to be confronted with a lost metaroom. I once had Ostrova which I was going to use for the winter months, only to not be able to find it. It probably got accidentally deleted or misplaced during one of my past hard drive wipes. The only other option in my mind that resembled a winter room was The North Pole, a beautiful room, but I wasn't quited pleased with it as my only option. You see, it is christmas themed, not just winter themed. Also, much to my dismay, and as I already dreaded, I would have to install C3 in order to get it to work. I have no problem with that game in general, it just lags my computer.
Once installed, I had the arduous task of finding and installing many winter themed toys, foods etc.. I did successfully find a few, but it took a few hours of searching and a couple failed injections. I also deleted the christmas fruits originally in The North Pole but unfortunately am unable to delete or get rid of the christmas trees decorating the landscaping as they are part of the background. I have yet been unable to find anything to put infront of them to hide them...
The migration itself was next.. and luckily this time there were much much fewer deaths than pervious. Only three died this time. Now.. on to my fantasized adventure of it all!
The norns of Tulu began their great migration! Only three didn't make it on the way. Poor Iguanitiusu was the first to go, weakened by the cold and lack of food. The next norn, Anders, was a bit hardier but eventually refused to move on, collapsing in the freezing cold snow. Poor Ulfert got lost along the way, never to see his new home. (I have no idea where he went, I couldn't find him anywhere!) The rest of the norns continued on, determined to make it to their new home in hopes of finding a cozy fire to greet them and a home full of food. they were confronted with a horrendous discovery however.. There future home was gone! Nowhere to be seen! Their cozy, winter home had disappeared, vanished seemingly into thin air! Leaving in its wake only a vast, deserted landscape with very little food and no shelter at all. All they can do is their best to make a home here with what they have.

When Lothar arrived, the first thing he did was take a looong, needed rest right in the snow. The trip had exhausted him.
Hidekazu walked around, having fun playing with the snowballs and snowflakes!

The norns quickly discovered this place wasn't as deserted as they had thought. They found a tiny population of native snow norns that blended in quite well! The native norns were soon learned to be Ayize and Asasaburou. The two snow norns welcomed the new norns and allowed them to live here with them. Ayize and Asasaburou were discovered to be a bit bossy though, and slapped some of the new norns around, as well as each other at times.
When Lothar arrived, the first thing he did was take a looong, needed rest right in the snow. The trip had exhausted him.
Hidekazu walked around, having fun playing with the snowballs and snowflakes! The first to be born in the snowy world was Hisashi. Hisashi was layed and born among a pile of snowballs and hatched amazed at his sorroundings. Everything is stark white! The little norn infront of him was barely seen and almost ran into! Little Hisashi doesn't have the ability to disappear among the snow though, in fact he stands right out much like most of the snowy worlds new inhabitants.
Most all of the norns except a brave few gather around the cornucopia stationed in the far left of the world. This little agent gifts all of the norns with every food they could ever want. Here is where most of them live, hoarding around the food, and occasionally pushing it for a feast. Little Hisashi quickly finds himself overwhelmed here in the mass of norns!
The next little norn born and last new baby of today is little Berchthold. A name i'm not too fond of, but a cute little norn indeed. He popped out of that snowy looking cold egg and began playing with the snowflakes that littered the ground. His momma layed him by the shee plushie, perhaps so the norn egg could be taken care of, and hatched under the familiar watch of a shee.
Thats it for today. Sorry about some of the messed up formatting. Next time will be better I promise!

Last Day of Tulu
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
Sorry my post is rather short today. I only played for an hour this time. Most of Tulu has been pretty tame though, and nothing much exciting or out of the ordinary has been happening. I have had a couple glow in the dark norn babies from such radical coloring, but they were females so I haven't featureed them in any of my posts. You will get to see them when they become norn queens in the future.I'm pretty sure by now all of the norns are tired of being constantly crowded, with little food to eat. Hopefully the next room won't be so crowded, and they'll not be so hungry. Because it'll be winter, I don't think there will be an abundance there, but I plan to do my best to privde them with a balanced diet.
I had a couple more mysterious deaths. The first one is Adoeete and the second is poor Landolin. Adoeete was getting up there in age, so I wasn't very sad when he died. Landolin however still had many years before him, and I often enjoyed watching him play with the other norns. I was sad to see him go. I hope this doesn't become an epidemic.
This is Nibaw, a new baby norn. Nibaw has two tails, one of his mothers, and one of his fathers. Nibaw runs around picking up little pies and eating them! This way the world won't become overrun with an over-population of pies.
Here is another of Kasumikos sons. This is Nikorasu. Nikorasu was born and began to crawl around the norn home he was born in. He is proving to be a smart little norn, already pushing cauldrons, though he hasn't yet seemed to learn that food pops out of them when you do this.
Nikorasu walked right over to his sleeping mother and settled down beside her. I thought this sight is so cute I just had to take a picture. They look so loving and cozy together.
The last picture of the day is of new little norn Shige. Kasumiko has been quite busy! And I have seen her be the one to initiate the kisspopping several times. It's nice to see the female norn take the initiative for once. Shige is going to grow up to be one of those short, stumpy looking norns, but oh so cute! He has a bad habit of running into walls though, so I have to remember to keep a close eye on him.
Thats it for today. Again, sorry it's short, and next time expect to see a whole new, winter world!

We're getting smarter!
We shall start off today with a birth. This is Napayshni (i pronounce it na-pay-sh-knee). Napayshni barely had time to pop out of his egg before the game took a snapshot. You can see here the eggs shell is still in the way. Napayshni was layed and hatched next to the little scarecrow toy in hopes he would not be born a bored baby. Kiyoe seems to like to lay her eggs near food or toys. Napayshni however, didn't care about any toys when he hatched, he instead found himself overwhelmed with norns and began the process of "retreat norn" that he'll probably be doing the rest of his life.
Landolin on the other hand seems to like to play with toys, and other things! He was happily playing by the cauldron when he took a walking pie hostage. It tried and tried to walk away but its little feet could not reach the ground for it was clasped posessively in little Landolins hand. Landolin looked at it intently, but did not try to eat, push or hit it. Interestingly, he only seemed to be observing it. He eventually took it with him as he began walking into and past the pumpkin patch. When he reached the walking tree dropping its fruits he traded the poor little pie slice for some food.. and the pie escaped free!
I took time out from norn watching to look over the ages of all of my norns. The oldest norn only had a few more minutes to live and I closed the norn statistics window to go to him, to spend the last minutes of his life with him. I didn't even get the window closed, however, when a death icon popped up on my screen. I sighed with a smile, thinking its probly him having died a little early, but was saddened to find it being Kiyoe who died early! She was an ancient at age 4 hours and 53 minutes. Still a natural death and long, full life. Kiyoe mothered many male children, all of whom you've read about, and also 9 female children, 8 of which survived and is in stasis to be imported at another time. Good job kiyoe!
Meet Kasumiko, the next reigning female norn. Kasumiko was born in albia not long after I started this blog, and is the third sister in the Liane series of 4. You can definately see the sisterly resemblance between kiyoe and Kasumiko. Kasumiko has a bit more C1 norn in her though as you can tell by the body and tail. Kasumiko as soon as she entered seemed to blend right into the world, and the other norns didn't even seem to notice it wasn't kiyoe. She picked up one of the walking pies and began to walk it toward the pumpkin patch. This pie never got eaten either, but eventually got away.
I would be lieing if I didn't say the surprise of Kiyoes unexpected death hadn't gotten me a little shaken up.. and when I saw another death icon I became worried and nervous again... only to find with a sigh of relief it was finally the old male I had been waiting for. Rald has lived a full life of the maximum 5 hours and 39 minutes for an average norn. Here he is in his final second before falling to the floor. He died happy with a smile on his face.
Over at the cauldron where there were not many norns I found two apple mixed breed norns. I watched with interest at what they were doing, because there wasn't any apples on the ground and yet they seemed very focused. I soon realized the apples were disappearing before or as soon as they hit the ground. Wait.. i'm not pushing the cauldron.. how are the apples .. OOOH! I was delighted to see a very smart norn, Chiyosaburo (the older, duller colored one), pushing the cauldron.. and then eating the apple that came out.. then repeating! He is a very old norn, so he must have had his whole life to learn how to use the vendor!
Poor chiyosaburo had competition for the apples though. As you can also see in the previous picture, Nobusuke was doing his best to snatch up the apple as soon as it appeared also, even though he was making no effort to push the cauldron himself. He was freeloading off of Chiyosaburo! I watched as sometimes one norn would get the apple, and sometimes the other norn would. Occasionally Chiyosaburo layed down to take a rest, or maybe he got frustrated, but it didn't last long before he was trying again.
Eventually Nobusuke left after Chiyosaburo decided he was done with the cauldron. CHiyosaburo began walking right, toward the other norns, when walking past him came Kasumiko. Chiyosaburo could not keep his eyes off of her and his gaze followed her as she passed, and he soon followed tight on her heels. It seems to be love at first sight!
Chiyosaburo followed Kasumiko into the skulls at the left side of the cauldron (the very dangerous wall place) and then followed her back to the cauldron. She layed down and rested beside it, while Chiyosaburo took up his position to the cauldrons right, which you can see here. Chiyosaburo then did the cutest little thing, he began to push the cauldron, like he had been doing moments before, and each apple was snatched up and eaten by Kasumiko. She seemed to enjoy them very much, while much to my adoration, Chiyosaburo didn't make a move to grab even one apple. He was pushing the cauldron all for Kasumiko.
Will Kasumiko and Chiyosaburos romance be taken to the next level? Will their love for eachother develop and grow stronger.. or will Kasumiko prove to not be a one norn girl? I can't wait to find out next time I play.
Landolin on the other hand seems to like to play with toys, and other things! He was happily playing by the cauldron when he took a walking pie hostage. It tried and tried to walk away but its little feet could not reach the ground for it was clasped posessively in little Landolins hand.

Baby Antics (or) March of the Pies
I thought tonights title was appropriate because babies make up most of the population of my world at this time. I of course have many adults, and may not quite adults, but babies seem to be everywhere and it can be slightly overwhelming trying to keep up with them all. This is Lothar. Lothar is enjoying some healthy, tastey apples. Lothar is one of the many cute babies in my world and like many of the others seems to be very intelligent. He hasn't yet displayed any of the mindless repetative behaviors some of the adults occasionally display.
Usually after finishing a meal of apples, a norn will then leave the apple cauldron and go find something else to do or eat. Occasionally, like Lothar here, a norn will cutely fall asleep beside the apple Cauldron. I have to wonder if the cauldron is warm or cold, since its metal i'd guess it's cold, so it wouldn't be very comfortable.. but Lothar doesn't seem to mind it.
Vincent hatched out of his egg a bright and happy baby norn like most of the others. He displays a liking for the apple cauldron as well and is often seen performing the long trek to and from it when there are apples present. I have also seen brave Vincent playing amongst the skulls in the most dangerous part of Tulu without getting a scratch on him. This displays a lot of intelligence not to bump into that deadly wall.
Meet a new baby norn, little Landolin. I love his name, and he is a very special norn because of his halloween colors. I expected to have many more halloween colors in my halloween room but I have been disappointed.. so I take what I can get! Like all the others with halloween colors, Landolin has been rather tame and casual with his behavior. He doesn't walk around pushing everything like the other babies. Perhaps it is the halloween breed in him. I did catch him soon after birth walking over to the skulls with a carrot in his hand. Maybe it gave him courage to get near them! Maybe it was his lucky carrot. He ate it soon after. :)
Landolin also took an interest in the apple cauldron, in fact a little more than any of the other norns. I told him to push vendor and rewarded him when he did. Unlike the other norns when taught things, he didn't just walk away, but actually became encouraged by it! Landolin learned to push the vendor, and ate the apple when it dropped out, then repeated! I was very impressed. Landolin is proving to be more intelligent than I expected such a casual norn to be!
Following the smell of the apples, little Vincent soon appears from the right to partake in some of the munching too! When Landolin and Vincent met, it was like at first sight! They continued to look at eachother, and occasionally smile brightly at the camera, but mostly at eachother. When pulled away from one another by my hand they marched right back to eachother. I was testing to see if it was the cauldron attracting them or actually eachother. They walked over toward the skulls together for a little bit, then met back at the cauldron.
Off screen I found an unexpected mess! Somehow, some norn had learned to push the pumpkin vine, and left pumpkins everywhere! Here is kiyoe in the pumpkin patch, which used to be small, but no more! All those pumpkins except for the ones displaying faces can be eaten, but for some reason my norns never like to hit them to cause them to fall into bite sized pieces.. so they never do eat them, causing them to pile up! What a mess! There's no way I can get rid of them :(
I focused my camera on Rald, currently the oldest norn in my world at just over five hours, and was surprised to see a whole herd of pies marching by him. My snapshot fingers wearn't quick enough to catch the whole sight, theres only two pies here, but believe me there was a whole herd! Rald was caught in a blink, maybe he was surprised and couldn't believe his eyes that he had to blink really big! Rald was on his way toward the pumpkin patch when the pies marched by, and he layed on the floor. Some little norn was playing with the pumpkin scarecrow I see!
Then there was a death icon atop my screen. Expecting it to be a victim of a wall, or a very old norn, I clicked on it only to find it to be Vincent. I checked him over and found no sign of bacteria, pain or toxins. It's another unexpected death. Poor little vincent didn't even grow up enough to hit youth and Landolin lost a friend. Hopefully it wont affect him too much though. Rest in peace Vincent.
